CrossFit Fox Den Is Improving the Health of Residents in Summerville, South Carolina

CrossFit Fox Den's 5,000-square-foot warehouse provides gym goers with a substantial amount of open space and an abundance of training equipment. In fact, there isn't a strength and conditioning program in the area offering a greater selection of tools, modalities, and drills. From weight lifting to gymnastics, all the way down to cardio, these engaging workouts bear unparalleled results.

Owner Nathan Scott began CrossFit Fox Den to reach as many community members as possible with the desire to positively impact their lives through health and fitness. Before starting the company, Scott was previously involved with fitness for fifteen years. A seasoned veteran of physical conditioning, Scott desired to transform the health of his community for the better. The atmosphere here is one of fun and encouragement.

"Athletes positively challenge each other while also offering the key component of a successful program: accountability," Scott said. "This creates a positive environment cultivating a sense of belonging in comparison to the solitude of an unstructured training routine."

Collaboration between trainer and trainee is key. A significant part of Crossfit Fox Den's culture is the desire to grow and educate athletes. Through a combination of mobility, strength, plyometric, gymnastics, and cardio training, athletes are constantly challenged in a variety ways.

No matter what their training focus, athletes at Crossfit Fox Den achieve peak fitness levels. While some members lost 60 pounds or more through these vigorous programs, others have gained 20 pounds of pure muscle.

"We've helped athletes win their first competition, add 60+ pounds to a lift, accommodated six pregnant women all through the eight month mark of healthy full term pregnancies, and restored functionality to a 65-year-old woman's shoulders while reducing pain," Scott said. "Our promise is to provide everyone with an education on their specific body, the way it works, and how to best care for it through education of proper functional training."

Superb training methods lead to satisfying fitness results, regardless of age. At CrossFit Fox Den, anyone and everyone can improve the way they feel about their body.
